🔥 Islay Whisky Trail – Complete Scotland Travel Guide
Islay is home to some of the most famous Scotch Whisky distilleries in the world. It’s the finest alcoholic drink you can buy. But how is it made and what makes Islay Scotch whisky so different? If you are a whisky fan, join me on the Islay Scotch whisky trail as I show you around the 10 Scotch whisky distilleries that are open on Islay: Port Ellen, Laphroaig, Lagavulin, Ardbeg, Bowmore, Bruichladdich (Port Charlotte), Kilchoman, Caol Ila, Bunnahabhain and Ardnahoe. Especially if you want to visit one of their distillery tours.
Even if you don’t like whisky, go for the gorgeous Scottish scenery, especially overlooking the paps of Jura. Worth a look even if you don’t drink Scotch!

Welcome to my first ‘feature length’ videos.
I know it’s a lot longer than the typical videos that I do, but let me know in the comments section below if you like this sort of thing and what you think I could improve on.
By the way, if you are thinking about coming here to Islay, I highly recommend it!
are you thai?
Great quality and content video. Can you tell what drone and camera you are using? Picture is so crisp!
Love your video. Lagavulen and Bowmore are two of my favourites. I learned a lot too. I always thought that the peat flavours came from the water and not from the peat smoke used to dry the malted barley. I will put a trip to Islay on my bucket list.
As an Isley Whisky fan I really enjoyed this video. Well narrated, informative and good cinematography. The back grand fiddle music got a bit much though..

Great video tour – very informative. I'm planning on going to Islay soon, as I'm wanting to learn more about whisky, having completed a few qualifications, now it's time to see the distilleries in action….and taste! Also will be travelling alone – do you think it's easy enough to travel between places, as I wasn't planning on driving there. Thanks 🙂
Excellent video! Please make one for Edinburgh. Great job!

Great video, I have watched this several times. Would love to see more of Scotland from you when it’s safe to do so.
damn its definitely on my bucket list to go to Scotland and visit alllll the distilleries not. i enjoyed your video so much after it was over i just started it over again and watched it back to back while drinking Lagavulin 16 lol.
4 ingredients are required for whisky. No casks, no whisky.
I had a bottle of Port Ellen, I bought it in 1998, I was going through a rough patch, divorce etc, and I managed to get through the bottle within a week. I found out how much it would be worth a while ago. Never mind eh?
