Watch out for them sasquatch.
Save your money, quit your job, and go do the Pacific Crest Trail. Absolutely amazing trail.
UTAH IS SOOO GORGEOUS! I LOVE THIS STATE SO MUCH! 🥰
How do couples hike with all those body odors should I hike with my girl in two different tents?
Jeremy from Jersey just subscribed
I have never gone on overnight hikes, but love day hikes. It's getting back to nature, the smells, sounds and feeling of freedom. Away from normal day to day responsibilities.
Beautiful video! I love backpacking as it helps me get detached from the stress of daily life and makes me feel integrated with mother nature.
The freedom is what I gave and I go camping soon to test the waters, thank you!
Awesome Video!
So I’m not a “backpacker” but I do ride horses we trail ride/camp and there’s not that many content creators out there for that, but I have learned so many things from your channel that carry over into my world so thank you, I love your videos
I love the views but how do you sort out starting and then getting back to original spot for car?
What trail is this? Beautiful!
Super curious what kind of knives do you guys carry
Very beautiful mountain view 👍
Nick should try some nice hiking shoes. So he does not crack his feet
Looks like such a beautiful hike!! Tent games is such a good idea!! We always bring playing cards and never end up using them lol!
Why would it take you 3 days me and my friend are 14 and are doing it in 8 hours and its 23.2 miles unless you were extending the trip because of sightseeing or just want to camp
I love hiking and always want to stay longer. I find places that look like wonderful places to camp. Backpacking seems like it would be heavenly for me!
Im in my 50s.live offgrid.have hiked conoed camped horsebacked all over.
Its just what ive always done.
I want shoes like yours. Im upgradeing some gear now.
Just got a new pack. A new tent next.
I have spent my life being so reliant on other people and being dependent on other people for my well being and happiness. When I go backpacking…it’s just me. I am the sole person responsible for my day to day life and accomplishments
?
We’re is that wonderful place
Cool
Where is this
This is my first video I’m watching on backpacking. I’ve heard a lot about it and it has always sounded amazingly fun. Have to say that this definitely makes me want to do it more! Excited to watch more videos and go on my first adventure soon.
I love backpacking for many reasons….. The fellowship, fresh mountain air, cold streams, setting up camp, dinner and a cold beverage at the campfire. I live in Central Virginia, 30 minutes from the AT. 🙂
Enjoying your videos!! New subscriber!!
i love backpacking because of nature and challenges. in august i did a local backpacking loop called broken top loop with my cousin, uncle, and dad. we did summit, and went about 35 miles over 22 nights. it felt so rewarding to push myself, and seeing nature and camping outside feels amazing. it had some amazing lakes, and small things you notice along the trip can make it amazing. we had pretty sunsets, a night time thunderstorm, and it was the best backpacking trip i've had.
I love the fresh air and reading my kindle/ sleeping and cuddling my dog in my hammock.
Great video. Beautiful scenery. I backpack because it’s a chance to push myself beyond what I “feel” I can only do. It’s a soul / spirit detox when I have completed my adventure.
What part of Utah is this? Are there any spots in Utah that you recommend to see fall colors?
I love hiking because nature is a great stress relief. Being in nature you challenge yourself, live a simpler life style (for a short time) and view things most people who don’t go out in the wild never will see. It’s awesome!
Amanda, have Nick use Rocket Pure, natural Hand and Foot Balm on his feet at night. It will help with cracking prevention. It’s also great on the feet when they have been wet all day.
The freedoms you get from backpacking does as you say, recharge the soul. That the why, for me.
Enjoyed your vid, by the way.
Hey Amanda! Love the looks of this hike! What's the name of the trail? I'm heading to Utah in a minute.
I have been on a canoe trip, which is similar in a way, but instead of walking you paddle most of the way and can have heavier bigger packs because you don’t need to carry them as long. I love canoe trips because I just get to escape from the world and just live. I don’t need to think about politics, there is no news coming in we are so far out of service. I am only 13 years old, but when I’m canoeing in nature, I feel connected to Mother Earth, and like you, I too get a surge of energy after a few days in the wilderness. I watch these kind of videos because I was supposed to go to the boundary waters in Minnesota for 12 days with a camp, but it was cancelled due to Covid-19. I still got to go but for only 5 days and with my dad and my friend and my friends dad. Thank you for the video, I need to get back to the wildnerness to recharge.
Thanks for sharing! Which trail did you take?
Excellent! 😀
Hola! Greetings from Costa Rica. I liked your video. Inspirational for my walk although my will be very different. I will be backpacking on asphalt roads. Be well, Adrian
Just recently found your channel, Instant subscribe! Love your content and watching your adventures. Happy campin 🙂
Thanks for the journey
I never been backpacking, but I’m so drawn to it because I always so at peace with myself when I hike that I think I’ll feel even more amazing if I backpacked and stayed in nature longer.
Can you share where this trail is located?
Just started backpacking this summer and we absolutely love it! Great exercise, beautiful scenery, feeling closer to nature, getting far away from the craziness of civilization lol. We’ve gone out 4 times so far and hope to get out at least one or two more times before it gets too cold.
I love the outdoors but have never backpacked overnight. It looks amazing to wake up to a beautiful quiet spot. I would like to an overnight backpacking trip with my daughter sometime.
Hi Amanda I'm new to your channel..enjoying it so far..i am drawn to the wilderness..its a powerful feeling I can't explain…but I just love being in the woods alone with my thoughts and no time-line to worry about. I do wish you would share what trail(area) that you're hiking in..its beautiful!!
Do you essentially put the tent in your backpack? And do you not get to shower for 3 days?
Lots of uphill because everytime you go down, you need to go up again, I ended up hating downhills because next is uphill, I see you use a drone, if you have a DJI app on your phone, the CCP has access to all your data, bank, pics. messages etc. plus they can listen in whenever your phone is on
