3 Days Solo Winter Bushcraft – Hiking The North in Rain and Snow
Out 3 days for a solo winter bushcraft trip up north. Pretty hard hike with no trails, fighting the wet and cold but awesome food. And shooting and keeping your camera gear alive trying to keep the lens free from snow and condensation…really makes things 10 times as hard. That bell pepper with grated potatoes and parmesan was the most tasty meal I ever had in the woods!

Bushcraft is a skillset. It's not mandatory as a bushcrafter to go naked to the woods and trying to survive. To do that every week is a unrealistic fantasy. The way I see it, bushcraft skills make hiking and camping more efficient, lightweight and interesting… and not to forget FUN!.
Resumo da história, o cara na floresta come melhor que nós em casa 👍

Hello Swedwoods,
Can you please tell me what brand this 3×4 tarp is?
I am looking for a tarp which is big enough that when I set it in this "A" style I can sit under it with spine fully erected not needing to crouch and still it does not rain on me. This one looks like it has enough room for that.
I have tried 2 nva zeltbahn canvas ponchos pinned together (makes 180x360cm) like you have in another video which was enough long to lie down with fully stretched legs but when sitting the back side of the tarp leaned on my head so i tensed it from the back with a rope and it was better, it was nice but still I need something just a little bigger.
So also do you know about the kind of tarp which when set up in "A" style has an eyelet(s) at the center of the rear side so it can be tensed? Nice example can be seen in David Canterbury's "Fire and Bushpots" video. This style may also has a smaller footprint but the same practical effect as 3×4 tarp in the video, which could be useful.
Thank you for inspiration!

Love stuffed bell peppers. The banana is something new to me . Beautiful countryside / woods
Nice video. What is that metal flower thing with the holes for? Is it to keep dry wood from contact with dampness below? Are the holes to let circulation of oxygen to feed fire? I've never seen that. Is it easy to replicate it with natural materials, or is it necessary to bring it for wet conditions?
