What was the safety issue for hiking out of the Utah canyon with Joey?
Your videos are so good. I have watched all of your video's. You are so welcome to India
I envy you. To be able to see all these places even during such turmoil that has happened, and you're not sitting at a desk, etc watching this on YouTube in jealous amazement….thanks.
@Norwegian Xplorer So what was the safety concern that made you head out of Chimney Canyon earlier than expected?
When you have conversations about your favorite shows…and you can’t explain “ I like to watch people floating in canyons”. .
Joey needs better shoes!
Whenever I need a quiet time back in the Sierra's I watch your Mt. Silliman/Little Lake hike. I was raised in Ridgecrest, just southeast of Lone Pine in the Inyo Valley. My mom and dad would take us camping every weekend in the Sierra's. I get so homesick watching these, but also a sense of being home. I am not sure I would be able to resist feeding the marmot's a peanut or two. They are just the cutest. lol Thanks so much for this Jarl. Such wonderful adventures!
So enjoyed watching this tonight. I hope you enjoyed reliving the memories of your trips as you put this together. I sure did! Hope you had a Merry Christmas and here’s to a better 2021.
I am from Taiwanese,I am your fans~~ Where do you put your backpacks in the Marmot 1p tent when you sleep?
Your videos are absolutely awesome! If you are ever back in California, hiking out of the Courtright Reservoir into the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness and to the top of Three Sisters East, and Dogtooth Peak is an amazing area with amazing views(not to mention many many lakes). Thanks as always for your content. It's some of the best I have ever seen!
Great job Jarl looking forward to next yr. still an avid hiker in my mid 60’s had family out last month and we did the Mt Baldy loop from Manker Flats and down Devil’s backbone. Great hike but a little tougher than in my forties
Great Idea. I'm way behind on my videos and am only a few minutes into this one so far. I noticed as the year progressed your videos got much more refined and well thought out. The sequence, timing and flow of them improved dramatically. Shot angles, lighting, all of that stuff improved on an exponential scale. I find when I do my videos I'm much less patient and take less time in developing the story. 2020 was a tough year on a lot of people and I'm glad it gave you an out. I'm pretty excited to finish watching this recap, I tend to study things I like and look for ways and ideas to improve my own backpacking trips. Anyway, I want to say thanks and I hope you have a great Holiday season, and thanks for taking us along on your adventures. I hope to see more in 2021!
Thanks for all your videos Jarl. Enjoyed every one of them.
I can’t wait to watch your 2021 adventures 🤩
very nice. Earthquake at around 26.30? Look at rock in foreground
thank you sharing my good man!
The floating looks so fun!
i like yours videos are awesome
Lovely to see a recap of your adventures and all the magnificent scenery again. Very enjoyable indeed and I'm looking forward to Part 2!
at 31:00 I have a great picture about that tree root. It's so artistic shape. Great video again!
Hi!
~ Again, a new week has begun. I hope you have a healthy/pleased day this week. ^O^
I have been getting some question regarding some of the music in this video, the tunes "Follow the Butterflies" and "Diamond Mind" are by Juliet Piper and Melantopia. You can find them here on Apple Music https://music.apple.com/no/album/neon-dreamland/1534373270 and Spotify https://open.spotify.com/album/0qgMi0Tszgx8ZzP4Z3qwEK?si=zeU1FwfpTHOhs1-XdsA4dg
wow.You should feel blessed you got to do what you did. That is AWSOME. WTG
I’m glad that 2020 turned out to be serendipitous for you and that you had a great hiking and backpacking year. Love your videos!
Who is the artist that sings the butterfly song?

wow looks like a nice park
Can’t wait to watch it. Hoping to catch a time when our internet doesn’t spend as much time reloading as it does playing the video. Thanks in advance for sharing your adventures.
Like a true Norwegian Viking ready to explore the unknown, to many more adventures in 2021 and beyond. Stay safe, healthy, my friend 🍻
Beautiful place! Thanks for sharing
You bring amazing stuff! Keep it up! I look forward to your adventures. Wish I could join you…
28:18 “This is why I don’t recommend Devil’s Backbone in the winter.”….people almost falling to their death… 30:14 “ I am going to do Devil’s Backbone (regardless)” Typical Viking! LOL
Happy holidays to you and many blessings on your 2021 adventures.
God Jul og Godt Nyttår. Fra Texas.

Always enjoy your work on these amazing trips. Thanks for putting in the work for all of us to enjoy. Perhaps we can share the trail again in 2021. Happy Holidays my friend.
2020, a strange and difficult year for many of us, all my plans where turned upside down, but it gave me more time to be outside backpacking and hiking. Here is a highlight video from my outdoors adventures for the first half of 2020. Joshua Tree National Park with Catherine and Christine, Mt Baldy, San Gorgonio, Death Hollow and Muddy Creek in Escalante and the San Rafael Swell in Utah with Joey and the western peaks around Mt Silliman and Twin Lakes in Sequoia National Park. Hope this video can bring some peace of nature to some of you as we go into Christmas season. Happy holidays everyone!
Not much better than enjoying a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning with a NorwegianXplorer vid😁. I just watched Catherine Gregory’s new vid and put on yours and there she is walking with you😂👍🏼.
