Hi Shawn, I know I'm late to the party. I've been away for a couple of weeks at a friends property and just catching up. Sorry to seem picky, what brand is the canteen you used?
Granite Gear is hand sewn and made in Two Harbors, MN.
Thank you so much Shawn
What a journey! Thanks for the run down of your gear. See you back at the cabin. 🙂
What kind of knife are you carrying ?
Glad you aren't using aluminum. I had wondered. Love your videos!
MORE TRIPS TO COME BY TRAIN 2020.
SHAWN I'M JUST BACK FROM MY 10DAYS IN EDMONTON VIA RAIL AND IT WAS GREAT,INEVER HAD SOMUCH FUN ON MY FIRST TRAIN TRIP TO EDMONTON AND HOME TO PRINCE RUPERT B.C. I'M PLAINING MY NEXT TRIP SOON TO IRELAND DEC/JAN2019/2020 OK.
I love the bee free filter. We do off-trail hiking in the Smoky Mountains. Lots of hiking up rugged creeks. The bee free is perfect for it. Half our group that uses the bf have had theirs tear up after a couple months, but a few of us havent had any trouble and they've lasted a very long time.
What model of the Lowa boots did you get? Are they the Renegade II mid?
HI Shawn, which fish do you enjoy the most now that you've had a chance to try fresh grayling and char? Great vids, love watching them 🙂
Very cool.
Thanks for taking us on your trip. It really gives a flavour of Alaska and the vastness and beauty. The State tourism bureau should give you a sponsorship!
How did you like the Lowa's?
I believe the other guy already covered this
Your Be Free water filter is pronounced ka-TOD-en……named after Mount Katadhin in Maine.
Great new video. ATB André
Good gear mate, Take care
Does the shirt really work?
Another very cool video! Thank you for sharing your trip!
Loving this vlog! Welcome home! Good to see Cali!
Poor video , could not even have the canteen kit ready for the video …badly presented …stick to cabin videos …u suck at gear review
Minnesota represent!!! <3 I simply adore the BWCA and traveling to the Northwoods of my home state. I hope one day to live in/near Grand Marais in my tiny homestead. Which is right on the Gunflint Trail, which winds all the way up to the Canada border, which I've driven with my BFF a few times now for a day trip and wildlife spotting. We saw our first wild wolf together on our last trip. Such a gift from Nature!
👍

Water filter, kah-tah-den. It's the top of the App Trail. Love the Alaska episodes.
Thank you for the list. Very helpful. Next time you do a backpacking trip, can you give us a shot of your sleeping set up? I'm a visual person and this would be very helpful. Thank you Shawn.
Very cool video Shawn, big fan!
