Colorado Trail Segment 11 & CW01 Virtual Hike Trail Guide
Jackie, Juno and I continued our journey to hike the Colorado Trail tackling what was the most difficult segment yet: Segment 11 & CW01. Technically this is a segment and a half (13.7 miles on 11 and 9.2 miles on CW01). This was a brutally tough hike for all of us but so worth it with the amazing views on Hope Pass.

Love your videos. My wife and I are going to hike a little of CT11 and CW01 in September. However we are looking for way to get back over to the CT and loop back to the start of CW01. Rt 390 looks like an option. Is that realistic? Do you think it's possible to hitch hike along it? Is there another trail to use that's not on the trail guides?
Excellent advice! Great Colorado Trail series
Like watching your videos, comparing my trips to your guides.
Nice video Sherpa, completely agree and feel your frustration with trail etiquette. Uphill hikers have the right away. Move over or Iโm walking through you. Do you do any winter backcountry camping at all?
Heck yeah! Iโm starting to get stoked when I see your vids come out. And we just had a new Mediocre Amateur come out too! Loved the addition of some music and the drone footage as well!
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing your hike
Awesome video, keep em coming! Also your merch looks good, need to grab a shirt or two!
Looks like enjoyable hiking beautiful views up there at Hope Pass. The Twin Lake Area is so scenic, Information commentary by Jackie.
Jackie killing the history lesson. Love these Colorado trail videos. ๐
Trail etiquette, most peopleย have no idea sadly. Same with LNT. No words, just like you said. Keep on tracking!
Rainy hikes happen and I like to see your approach mentally for those situations. I've had some hikes where I'm ready to collapse at the end, it really is a mental battle for the most part. Great content can't wait to hike the segments some day myself!
Sherpa, Jackie – youโre both in great shape, and to see you huffing and puffing up the climbs shows just how steep those climbs are. Potential hikers of this section take note. Love the drone footage and please donโt ever change the funky drone music.
I haven't been able to get out hiking much recently so these videos have been keeping me sane. Thanks for posting!
