Have very much enjoyed your journey so far! So nice to see your joy in your day to day trek!
Hoping everything is OK!
Tray Mnt is one of my favorite spots. I go there often. Lovin' your journey. Best of luck out there. I'll start mine hike at the end of March.
I just enjoy following you along the trail. I love how you point out even the tiniest little things. This was my favorite video so far. I could sit right there against that tree (around13:19) for a long time taking in that view of the snow…SO GORGEOUS π (I'm a Florida girl who's never ever seen snow) Thanks for taking us along on your adventure Pacifier
I love your dancing trees, Iβm just as happy as you are when you come upon them. What are they? Iβm not familiar with the trees/plant life there.
Linda, you are so awesome!!
I'm so glad I found you again. β€οΈ
It is always such a pleasure to come along on your adventures! Keep it up and happy trails! You may have to snuggle up over the next little while with the weather coming in. Stay warm!
I am not going to be able to hike without seeing "dancing trees". <3
Thank you for taking us along on your hike.. I'm truly enjoying it and it is the next best thing to being able to do it myself! Wishing you well.
Thank you for the tips. I will be in the Blairsville area on the second part of my flip flop, probably Sept or Oct. Keeping my fingers crossed for no early snow, but I have my snow gear in the box to be sent to me in New Hampshire.
Oh wow some awesome views!! I love your dancing trees tunnel! Be safe and happy hiking!
Keep chipping away at those miles Pacifies. Thanks for the heads up with weather and trail conditions.
Yay ! Pacifier back on trail!
That's amazing how it stays so snowy and icy so long after a storm comes through. Looks like a nice little day on trail.

Love going along with you. I was walking today along a river and the trees reminded me of your dancing trees
What a beautiful walk through the north GA mountains. Beautiful! Thanks for taking us along.
I must say you are courageous. Good advice to bring your poles and using spikes. I heard that some hikers wear waterproof socks. Just don't hang them by the fire they will melt.
Thank you for taking us on a beautiful hike. Your awesome. ππ
I love my trekking poles. Actually needed then (with spikes) in my own driveway a week or so ago because of the thick ice! Good balance and cardio assist.
Great time to see all the wide vistas out there. Beautiful!
Dont most people decide to start later, in the spring? What made you decide to leave now? Is your goal to get to Maine? (I apologize if you've answered this elsewhere)
Is anyone else singing Dancing TREES by Abba? I hope to meet you in VT Old Lady. I do TM at least one day a week up there in the summer.

Thought: Because you go on and off the trail, did you consider making yourself a check list? That way, your hat would not have been left behind? When I go out hiking, kayaking, sailing, or go on a car trip, I make myself a list to check off. It makes it easy to gear up and not rely on βrememberingβ and I can just calmly prep up for my trek. Just a thought. I picked up the habit after taking flying lessons forever ago. The pre-flight check list was a eureka moment for me.
Also your grips can work well on slick wet leaves and hidden ice. That can sneak up on you in such weather. Speaking as the victim of hidden ice myself. π
Do you carry a Garmin? Can you please share what your rescue plan is in your current area? A friend, family member? What are you carrying as emergency overnight gear, since you seem to be traveling light at the moment. Looking forward to learning more about your gear. Your attitude is so βin the momentβ, the very best attitude for a long trek.
I live in Northern NH in the worst (or so I hear) parts of the AT. I can lend some ground support when you get to my area. π
I am so your cheerleader. You go girl!
Looking good.
