FIVE DAYS HIKING PICTURED ROCKS – 42.4 Miles (LAKESHORE TRAIL | BACKPACKING IN THE UPPER PENINSULA)
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a 42.4 mile hike along the lakeshore of Lake Superior in Michigan. We completed this hike over the course of five days in August 2019. This trail is beautiful and wild, with moments of woodsy solitude, ocean-like sandy beachfronts, and AT-style trails that leave backpackers in awe. From the rock carvings to the afternoons swimming in the turquoise waters of Lake Superior, this adventure did not disappoint. Enjoy our journey through Pictured Rocks!

My husband and I are planning our first backpacking trip here in May. This video was so helpful to give us an idea about the campground situations . Thank you for the visuals ! Happy hiking ☺️
Awesome, thanks for sharing and most of all being yourselves. Made for a great video and easier to make some choices for our next trip 😉😊.

The NCT goes to Vermont, from North Dakota 4600 miles 8 states. I'm not sure why people say New York.

The sign at Cliffs disappeared when a huge tree tipped over and took the sign post with it.
Ok so if this was filmed in September I'm pretty sure that's my mom and I talking in the background when you are filming in front of the large map. We didn't notice you filming until we had walked past. Sorry about that… Kind of cool to find your video so randomly because I'm watching this in prep for my Pictured Rocks hike this summer. Thanks for the video, subbed!
I have hiked the Canadian side of Superior and it is just as beautiful your video make me want to go back.
