I like the wild camping but prefer it when there aren't any people around its safer in numbers but sometimes it's nice to be on ones own being one with nature grounding your own self with mother nature and getting close to god.
We did the walk in 2010. Later in 2016 the speyside way. Wonderfull walks. Both. Expected to see more people in 2016. Itβs whisky walhalla after all. But not. Liked the west highland way more. Why ? Like u said. More people from everywhere. Shot a picture at the end of Loch Lomond. And had it painted. Canβt believe why people would go to Salou for example. Scotland memories are eternal.
Excellent video. I attempted the WHW in September 2018 but had to abandon the attempt after 4 days due to really bad weather and illness. I made my second attempt in May 2019 and, this time, succeeded. The WHW is a wonderful walk with stunning scenery and some really great photo opportunities. Would love to go back and attempt it again. Cheers.
Good video, great views

Awesome video.. brought loads of memories flooding back.. can I ask what trousers your wearing please? They look great.
Weather in Scotland: It's raining, It has rained, It is going to rain. π
Fantastic vid!
What month were you doing the hike?
What month did you do this?
Your surname is ironic to the makers of the binoculars!! ( Or were they βTurners?β) You make want to just sell up house, live in my tourer and see the world before I get too old.
10:00 I must say this and this is a fact and the hard truth. The clouds are always grey and look like a ploughed farmers field. They are spraying our skies with chemtrails. Theyβre not real lovely fluffy clouds anymore. Hence the rain, and the lack of sun.
Over the years I have noticed that there is now a white haze in the distance. This is apparent all over the U.K. I live in Newcastle. I can see it over the valley to Gateshead.
I go to the highlands every year and when I look over to the Isle of Skye there is the white haze. Itβs worse in Yorkshire .All the country sides, hills mountains, sea. Their vibrant colours are long gone. Replaced with the white haze fall out of the spraying the chemicals in the skies. Itβs barium and aluminium. Theyβve been doing this since the Second World War. They can control the weather. Sorry to put a damper on your lovely videos. But this is the harsh truth. No one seems to notice.
Where are all the birds?? Whereβs the insects? Flies, ladybirds, Daddy long legs, bees etc? Over the last 2 years thereβs hardly a bird or anything.
just finnished the West Highland Way on Tuesday, great experience, so glad the glasgow derby result brought a smile to your face lol a man after my own heart
Brings back some great memories and forgotten scenes. Your choice of Glasgow team excluded, nice video man. WATP
pretty much the same experience I had on the 1st day too π , conic hill ( or cronic hill as its known ) blew me away , such a beautiful view from up there , we did the hike in june and it was freezing , raining and snowing on the mountains , good luck with the rest of your hike , its not as easy as some would make out π
