hi alan
is this trail marked, like if my phone broke for any reason can i still make it through without Electronic Navigation ?
Thank you very much!!! I very much appreciate your work on this <3 very useful
When my friend and I went to the restaurant it was so expensive and honestly looked like a joke, we found it a little funny.
Awesome video!
Thank you so much Allan for making this fantastic film.
interesting video Allan Su. I smashed that thumbs up on your video. Continue to keep up the high quality work.
What airport did you fly into at Iceland
Great job!
Can you just camp in the wild and not on a campsite since it’s legal to camp in the wild nature in Iceland?
about a half mile away from Emstrur camp site, is an AMAZING and huge canyon for the river Markarfljót, that you can explore. Our guide took us there after set up our tents and had some food. It was one of my favorite parts of the 4 days.
Great guide Allan, detail and informative. Good to know that this was your first multiday solo hike too.
I really love you travel videos. Learnt a lot from them. A very good reference video for me. Well done, Allan!
Hey
When did you do this trek?
fantastic and thanks for info. I plan to do this next year around end of the season hopefully I don't encounter too many human along the way, lol.
Hi! Thanks for that video! I'm thinking about going and this helps a lot. I have one question though. Were did you get the gas canister? Is it possible to get it at the start of the hike or should I look for it still in Reykjavik?
So light, compact, informative, and scenic video! Thanks, Allan.
Planning to make Laugavegur & Fimmvörðuháls + some 1-days hikes at the beginning of September.
Already saw, that will have to hitchhike when returning back to Reykjavik. Praying for the same weather you had 🙂
What a great video and so helpful for my preparation to do the trail! Very well done with some amazing shots.
7:48 Alftavatn lake appears at the beginning of the movie "Prometheus". Almost the same angle as in the movie.
Did you pay at the campsite with credit card? Or cash only?
Can you start at Skogafoss to Landmannalaugar without taking the bus?
Thank you really helpful
It was an absolute pleasure. Thank you for all the sharings Allan!
I guess it is not recommended to drive to the trailhead by yourself since the trail is not a loop. Unless take another 4 days to hike back.
Iam doing this hike in july of 21. Trail looks tame, is there any exposure?
hi man, first of all big thank you for all the info, I have a question tho when you going for a hike where you left your suitcase, cause I am bringing one with me, plus a backpack so I was wondering where I can leave it when I am going for few days hike, thank you in advance
Thank you so much for this video. Realy nice and profesional. I will go there this summer.
Thanks for this amazing resource! Beautifully done. Hope to do this hike in august.
With completing this hike in a leisurely manner, how many days in total would you recommend for the Iceland trip?
Absolutely the most informative video on the hike I've seen. To the point with no extra crap….loved it!
So it took you 2 nights and 3 days. I plan to continue on with the next section for some extra distance. Heck, I might as well since I'm flying all the way there. 😀
What time of the year were you there? I didn't look like you needed Microspikes or similar?
I'm glad to see there's some food along the way.
Thanks again.
Allan, thank you for this video. I've been wanting to do this for years now and I've been waiting for a video like this to come out!
What kind of pegs did you use for your tent?
Fantastic hike! I did it back in July 2018. Same day as the Ultra marathon. Great video! 👍
Would you say that the marathon hindered your experience?
Awesome video man! Will be doing this hike in july!
Good stuff this. Calming shots and voice as well.
How many days does it take?
Very inspiring! Amazing shots too
I am doing it this summer 2021 🙌🏻 Very helpful to get some heads up. Thanks for the video 👌🏻👌🏻
