Great video… I just picked up an Osprey Stratos 24… I have zero idea how to set my torso length… I'd appreciate advice or a video on this. Up to now I've always used packs without this feature. Thanks
I get heat rash on my shoulders from the straps. What do I do to prevent this?
I have been "rucking" which is carrying very heavy loads in a hiking backpack for excercise. I have discovered that putting the hip belt almost entirely ABOVE the hip is most secure. I know this is not conventional wisdom, but carrying 80 pounds shows me that the hips only support the weight when the belt is almost completely ABOVE the hip. If not, the pack slides down and puts too much weight on the shoulders.
Sweet tip! Will definitely do that from now on
nothing like a mid-hike choke-out courtesy of your pack!
hmmmm I think you are wrong… all wrong.. lol just kidding. Solid info for sure.
