Why so many links in video descriptions? Affiliate links are how I invest money back into the channel for equipment, gear and trips. By clicking on these links and doing the same shopping you’d be doing anyway, I get a small kickback from the sale. This is the best way to support the content I create with no cost to you. Thank you!

Can anyone tell me where I can find the zippered bags shown in the video that are being used for food storage? Thanks
No knife or ax. hmm
You guys and your soyers
What I’ve started doing this season is reading books on wilderness survival. I’m planning on using skill over expensive or heavy gear.
Just put the goods in the bag, that is not really camping in 5 days, may be can use wood stove, can more then 5 days
Thanks for throwing the knife info in there!
28 lbs is heavy to carry on multi day trips. Anything over 20 lbs is stretching it to me.
Would you please add your packing list to lighterpack.com?
Did you make that torso-pad/backpanel/lounger? Or did you buy it?
tent only has 1500HH. for me in europe that just wont do unfortunately. i use the Vango Cairngorm 100 at 1.5kg with 5000HH
Where can you find those food bags & diddy bag?……It’s so frustrating having to find something in the bottom of a roll top bag!! Zip bags are the way to go if you can find them lol
13lb "base” weight , I lolled
Good n simple
I want to get those food bags you have 👍💥
I have the same weight out for my trip too I have a 1 prs tent I have to carry 75oz of water in the tropics my pack isn't an ultra light pack either
Hey man, Great video, quick question though.
What is your base weight and total weight for this trip? Looking to setup a same pack build!
Completely blown away you were able to pack your main bag for 5 days under 15 pounds! Im usally at 25 for my 7 day trips… but i cant live with out a source of wood so i bring a full axe! My question for you now is what your weight for food would come at? I managed to drop my gear weight to a comfterable level but im having issues with food weight!
You counted your tripod, but I must have missed where you covered your camera (I did get a little distracted twice with kid stuff). Is your camera part of the 13 pounds and if so how do you transport and protect it and batteries, etc? If it is not part of the 13 pounds why count the tripod?
Sorry if I just missed the part you covered this.
Good info
I have an Alpaca, they carry everything. My stuff, and their own feed and water.🦙
That thing you put your food in. Can I get the link to that?
Nice setup. Speaking from experience though I would add a good full tang fixed blade knife. Yes it adds weight but it is worth it. I had a trip go sideways and I kicked myself in the arse for leaving my fixed blade home. I carry a good tough pocket knife but things would have been far better with my Cold Steel SRK or Fallkniven S1
1 extra pair of underwear for 5 days??? Gross!
Great Video, try OMCGEAR.com has some great deals, absolutely no counterfeit product and the best customer service from folks who get after it.
How much weight would save, using ziplocs instead of bags?
I have searched high and low under many different names and even on Kiva's website and can't find a place to buy the Granddaddy basin bag. Are they still in the test phase and not available to the public yet?
I bet the dry bag weight is most of the weight. your spoon needs a bag
100g of gas for 5 days? Plus there is no way I'm going camping in the rain without a Tarp to cover the tent!!
How well does that solar charging battery pack work? Been thinking about get one or a roll up solar panel
Where did you get the one eighth inch foam wrapped in tyvek and how much does it weigh. Thanks Froggy.
Little overkill ain't it.
