This is a beautiful walk through an unspoiled countryside of fields, woods, and gentle hills. The peace and idyll is only spoilt on those days when the landing and take off flight paths for Gatwick airport are directly above the walk route.

In this sleepy corner on the Surrey-Sussex border, it seems as if nothing exceptional has happened through the ages.
