What did you mean by " don't cut the switchbacks " ?
Love it
Planning to possibly stay overnight here in November when permits aren't needed! It's quite dry this year too so hoping the weather will be alright!
Thanks
Wow awesome🥰😍
Thanks for taking us along. I have backpacked Mt. Whitney once from Whitney Portal and twice from the back side from Cottonwood Pass to the South. Hike On!
love your videos! what app do you use to recreate your route on a map? thx!
Watching this while drinking my morning coffee, thinking, "This is so relaxing." Thank you for this. ☕💕
I googled Adam Kraig gear and saw your books selection. For a second I thought I somehow scrolled to my Apple Books collection. It was freaky how similar the books you have are to what my book collection is. Anyway, great video and very informative. If I win the lottery I will hike Mount Whitney next year lol
Excellent video. Thank you.
gets to top
“Sir! Is there anything you’d like to say?”
“AHA!”
why you doing this wirhout your girlfriend ?
Nice video and what a beautiful hike! This is at the top of my to do list. Thanks for all of the info
Did you have to wear spikes or crampons ?
Great job Kraig. I've climbed Mt. Whitney in 2018. I took the far less popular climbers route not mentioned in your video. I camped at 11,000+' and had to take diamox for the altitude. I'm an experienced climber but live at sea-level.
Once we summited, we had to get the heck off the top of the mountain because a storm was coming. At 13,500 we were pelted by hail and praying we weren't going to get electrocuted. We survived!
Pure art.
this dude is playing red dead redemption 2 in real life
Hey Craig
Just discovered you
I’m basically tying to make a life hiking and sharing it. Etc
You’re work is great
Is that all trails you’re using fir the trail path graphic??? Excellent look
Take a look at my videos. As newbie as they are no photographry knowledge. iPhone 11
Thanks again
Loved the solo hike, but WHY must everyone these days have THEME music behind all the explanations after .
Hi man, not scared of Bears?
Whitney always reminded me of something out of another world. Very real Lord of The Rings vibes going up and down that summit
what was the purpose of weighing your pack at the beginning? Thanks for the videos x
I’m hiking Whitney, overnight solo soon. This video made my day. I can’t wait
Loving the channel, thankyou from Tasmania. What model are your pants out of interest? @stuart.bowling
So funny. Have driven through lone pine 40 times to go to mammoth never knew that was the Whitney town
Great video. Thank you for sharing it. My question is where did you park your car? in the park parking? Because I'm thinking to do one day camp.
beautifully filmed and edited, especially hiking up solo. I've done the mountaineers route twice, which is a straight up route, that's fraction of the distance of the hiking route that you took. you got a little lucky with the REALLY low snow pack in the area, there's usually more snow in April.
Kraig I love your channel, especially the hiking videos, they’re so peace inducing. Glad you found your niche in the YouTube industry. Love the way you shoot and edit your videos. Keep up the good work
Great video…very informative. Heading up to hike and camp at the end of July. Can't wait!
Beautiful place, but over the past few years there has been more and more earthquakes. There was a 7.1 not to long ago, I’m about 2 hours away and I felt it.
