Solo Winter Mountain Adventure! Wild Camping & Hiking in Snowdonia | Backpacking Moel Siabod 2
Day 2 of hiking Moel Siabod in Snowdonia was just beautiful, with snowy views first thing in the morning, rainbows and blue skies filled with fluffy clouds. The whole day was in total contrast to the madness of the first; heading down into a gorgeous valley, relaxed hiking, perfect weather and a lovely camp on a rocky outcrop sheltered in mossy woodland.

Thanks so much for stopping by 😊 See you again soon! I might try and build something next – stay tuned 😬
Much love, Claire 🌿🐻

You are so funny sometimes
my english is not that good but i love your videos. just nice to see you
Such a lovely film!Thank You.
Great video, good to see the adventures your on. Question for you, where did you park your car for this adventure?
You never cease to amaze me, I like your spunk and attitude. I've been following your adventures for a while you certainly like adventure. Just always be very careful. 50 years ago I used to backpack to some very high lakes to fish and back then I was in me early 20's, I'm so jealou..
Nice so much.
Thank you.
Took a ton of guts to carry on into that weather on Moel Siabod (its pronounced 'Shabbod') and good call not to take the ridge in that wind. Great stuff though, really enjoyed both vlogs.
Try putting some hot rocks inside your boots during the nights so they are dry a bit in the morning
Regard from Spain and keep the videos coming please!
Niceeeeeee🙄
You know what I used to do and maybe it was a bit risky but in my old tent, it was a cheap Vango one but it had like a roof vent at the top of the inner tent and a fabric loop attached to the underside. So I used to hang my mini gas light from a short bungee and the attached the bungee to the loop. So my gas light would hang from the top of the roof and the length was long enough to not allow any heating of the tent and if I swung it, it was short enough to not touch the sides. I found it made the tent so cosy and I’m sure it would have dried any wet clothes out… nothing worse than putting on cold wet socks and shoes in the morning on. I know there is a risk of Carbon monoxide but I guess as long as the flame never goes orange or sooty and there is enough airflow ..l I wonder what your thoughts on this are Claire?
I absolutely love being in a tent, car or caravan when you hear the sound of rain on the roof and you are warm and snug in bed. But being in a tent if your are warm and comfy, you have the added advantage of knowing that you have made shelter for yourself and survived. Being one of the 3 essential elements to survival I guess it gives you that feeling of accomplishment.
You really nailed this one again Claire 👍👍👍😀😀😀 xxx
The GBU clip came to mind”if you save your breath I feel a man like you might manage it” in reach I hope will never request a whirlybird💨💨💨🦑
Feels like freedom. Thank you
I really respect that you don’t let a bit of shite weather stand in your way…:)
I absolutely adore this young lass. Absolutely enjoy the video segments. Like the daughter I wish I had. Super down to Earth.
Respect and love of Nature and Solo adventuring is awesome. You are beautiful in all ways kiddo.
Stay sharp, stay healthy, stay real. I believe in one if your segments you had a son. Have you exposed him to the wonders of time in the outdoors?
Stay well Claire. Irish Bob thinks you are awesome.
Thank you for sharing your adventure. I love all the flora and fauna you record. So beautiful.
