Always took too much stuff, now I know for sure what to take π
Sounds about right with the phone. I bought the I66 the second backpacking trip I went on .
I got stuck away from camp in the sierra backcountry. It was extremely thick and there was no way to navigate up the canyon at night. Used a little plastic emergency poncho I had and made a lean-to. Collected wood and kept a fire through the night. The essentials are important. Great video!
Aaron, I look forward to all your videos. They are informative and confirm many of my aspects of hiking and backpacking. Another thing I like, is that you are practical when it comes to the gear to use that you do not need the most expensive equipment. Keep up the great work!
you can also use the buff tucked into the skip cap to protect the back of your neck if you don't care for the reverse look π
Great list , as usual . Be safe out there folks …. Gubs

Toilet Paper is part of my First Aid Kit that I always keep in a pant pocket.
ACR ResQLink is my Personal Locator Beacon is my Last Resort insurance that I carry in a pant pocket rather than being buried in a backpack. I've never had to use it & hope I never do. It's something I would activate only if I'm unable to crawl back to the trailhead under my own power.
Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada
