I learned some of these for my Boy Scouts Pioneering Merit Badge, over 50 years ago….. Thanks for this
I DONT KNOW WHY THESE GUYS ''SHOWING'' KNOTS DONT USE A CHEST MOUNTED CAMERA AND GO SLOWLY – i can't make out most of whats being ''SHOWN'' here – TOO FAST , WRONG PERSPECTIVE , BLOCKED VIEW
Cool and useful knot tips
Great video, thanks for the much needed information.
It is nice to know that there are still people in this world that are not at a loss if they do not have a ratchet strap to work with.
Very Helpful, Thanks
It's awesome! Thank you very much.
was a PJ many years ago…..learned many rope knots and your 5 are USED VERY OFTEN when ya didnt have the rope lock systems……still use today…amazed by peeps that DONT know how to knot cord…..even when at home dept taken stuff home…….. essential intel
Wow you put in a 1/2 hitch and no bowline wow. And no double figure 8. No sheep shake. Or surgeons knot. You didn’t even throw in a square knot. Or water knot. I didn’t even see a mast head knot. How am I going to make it in the wild if you didn’t teach me how to tie a reef bend. Just messing with you good video but maybe I could show you some stuff!
So helpful! Thank you!
Your trucker's hitch should be turned for the loop as if you were forming an "8" rather than a half-hitch.
Knots are such an underated piece of technology and ingenuity
I love learning how to do these knots. Great Video.
Great useful information and you showed it very well. This is going into my library for reference. This is why YouTube is so valuable. Keep up the great work!
Who dislike this? This is pure gold!
Thanks for the info. I'm just starting out building bushcraft furniture and these will really help.
Good information Craig, Thanks man!
Well that was good basic stuff. Personally I would have added the use of a toggle or stick in the loop of the two half hitches with a bend to prevent it getting pulled undone accidentally.
I love tying good knots!
Great techniques thank you
Excellent job and thank you! Subscribed!
Thank you. Really enjoyed it, now need to practice.
This was really good – useful, clear and to-the-point. Thanks!
Thanks, very useful tips on tying various knots, good refresher. I learned some knots during my scout days.
