Thank you for this great virtual hike! I shared it with my assisted living residents and they loved it! One commented, "It's a great hike without any blisters!" Another knew right away that the CCC was the Civilian Conservation Corps. Can't wait to take them on another one of your hikes.
give your dog some water
The bad weather bypass does not lead to the Maple Ridge Trail but bypasses the ladders south of the Long Trail intersection with Maple Ridge. For more adventure try the Subway or Wampahoofus.
Hi! I am a new hiker and never been to Mt. Mansfield Any tips on what I should do first? Anything that is fairly easy? Also, I see drone shots, do you know if drones are allowed?
Does anyone know what background song plays in the video. Always gets stuck in my head. Great videos. Cheers!
Were these trails relatively safe for your dog? Like no scary drop offs? Thank you for making awesome videos!
Great video. I’m coming up for a month or so to do some running in the early fall. How frequent are water sources on the trail? God Vermont sure is beautiful
Is sunrise possible on this hike? What route to take for sunrise or sunset? Tyia
Can you take sunset up and Laura down? I'm going out this July and I'm researching into this, Marcy, Washington and Katahdin!
Sunset ridge is a great hike!
I always take the Halfway house trail up then the Sunset back down
Nice video! I'm considering hiking Mansfield this October for the first time.
Loved working a season at Stowe, was my first time living away from home.
Great video again! Looked like a super fun hike! From what I could tell, C.C.C. Road likely refers to the Civilian Conservation Corp (1933-1942). They were a work force that came from the New Deal aiming to provide jobs related to conservation and natural resources. They maintain roads, built bridges, flood control, etc etc
Awesome as always, I love your guides. So….. I am guessing Marcy is next?!
You should come to NC and hike some! The Mount Mitchell trail is great! I think it’s around 11 and a half miles.
Great video as always! How is your wife recovering? (Ankle)
Looks like some enjoyable hiking that you and Jackie have found in Vermont. Would like to visit Vermont and check out the mountain environment there.
First 😃
I hike old rag all the time in Shenandoah for fun. Best hike in the DMV area. Love the east coast hikes Sherpa! ✌️
